A Park and a Zoo in one. Of our 234 wooded acres, 80 acres are taken up by the Zoo, plus an additional 57 acre Savanna.

The rest is a beautiful park for you to enjoy, with tree-lined paths, natural and seasonal gardens, picnic areas, playgrounds, bike trails and a pond for fishing.

The African Savanna, the new reptile house, the new World of Birds aviary, the souvenir shop and cafe in the zoo area are all possible thanks to the careful planning of the Park Commission and the generous support of the people of Cape May County and tourists alike.

Admission has always been free to the Zoo. It is the generous donations from the people of Cape May County and all of our visitors which lets us maintain our level of excellence in every area of the Zoo.

For more information on the Cape May County Park & Zoo, phone (609) 465-5271.
